Bio

Jacob Williams is an actor, writer, and comedian currently based in New York City.  Originally from North Carolina, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he performed in local theatre projects (mostly affiliated with LAB! Theatre) and was also in the cast of Above the Fold, a series about a group of students running a university newspaper.  After graduation, he worked for a short time in North Carolina’s film and comedy scene.  He was a company member of the INNY award-winning Chapel Hill Players (CHiPs) as well as at DSI Comedy Theater since 2009.

As of now, Jacob is active at the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and is continuing to entertain his acting and writing habits with such friends as Ground UP Productions and his ensemble of comedy/actor friends who have yet to organize themselves.

Jacob was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 20, 1989.  He grew up in the nearby city of Oxford and attended the J.F. Webb School of Health and Life Sciences, where he thought he might be a doctor or something until he got to college and changed his mind.
